We believe that restoring the connection between humans and the more-than-human world is key to sustaining wellbeing. We also believe that gathering in community provides mutual aid, support, challenge, and depth to this spiritual practice of restoration and healing.
Founded in 2023 in the spirit of the Church of the Wild, Hearth Cville invites all spiritually curious folks to join us for monthly wanderings in nature year-round.

We meet one Sunday a month from 4:00-5:15 p.m. to wander at various locations around Charlottesville, VA.
Wanderings start with informal conversation around candles or a fire. Facilitators then offer suggestions to guide folks into silence with one another and into communion with nature. We close with conversation and sharing in a variety of formats.
We also host monthly in-person “wisdom shares” where community members discuss their spiritual paths, lessons, questions, and concerns.
